Overview
Darwinex is a bit different from a normal CFD broker. It's a broker and an asset manager in one: you trade forex and CFDs on MetaTrader, and if your track record is good, Darwinex packages your strategy as a DARWIN that investors can put money into, paying you a performance fee. It suits systematic traders after low commissions and outside capital. The UK side is regulated by the FCA, the EU side by Spain's CNMV, and the Global entity by the Seychelles FSA.
Accounts and costs
The CFD account needs a first deposit of 500 EUR, USD or GBP, and corporate accounts need 10,000. Pricing is raw spreads from 0.0 pips plus a forex commission of around $2.50 per lot per side. Retail clients get up to 1:30 under EU rules, while professional and Global clients get more. Stocks and futures go through a linked Interactive Brokers account, with US shares from $0.005 per share. Darwinex Zero is a separate service where you trade virtual capital in real market conditions to build a track record.
Platforms and markets
You can trade on MT4, MT5, TradingView or DXtrade, and there's API access for anyone running their own systems. The CFD range covers forex, indices, commodities, stocks and ETFs, with crypto CFDs on MT5 only. Through the Interactive Brokers link you also reach real stocks and around 60 futures products on exchanges like CME, CBOE, EUREX and ICE.
Money in and out
Bank transfer works for everyone. Cards and Skrill are only on the UK entity, and money deposited that way has to go back out the same route. Later deposits can be as small as 100, except bank wires, which stay at 500. Darwinex covers most deposit costs but passes withdrawal costs on to you.

What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
Darwinex reviews are mostly positive but there are not many of them. Trustpilot shows 4 stars from about 230 reviews, and that page covers both the broker and its Darwinex Zero subscription product. Forex Peace Army, Myfxbook and Reddit have threads but no score in the bundle. Most praise is for the investor-allocation model and support. Most complaints are about costs, the minimum deposit and some withdrawals.
What traders like
Being paid for a track record. Many reviewers, on Reddit especially, like that steady, low-risk trading can earn allocations from Darwinex and outside investors instead of chasing prop firm drawdown limits.
Support. Trustpilot and Myfxbook reviewers often praise quick, personal help during onboarding and afterwards.
Few trading restrictions. Darwinex Zero users say most styles are allowed, with no challenge-style rules.
Regulation and execution. Older Forex Peace Army and Myfxbook reviews point to FCA oversight, an agency model and fair spreads.
Common complaints
Cost. Several reviewers find the 500 minimum deposit, commissions and card withdrawal fees expensive. Some Darwinex Zero users say spreads on gold get very wide.
Slow money. Some Reddit and Trustpilot users note the 15% profit share and the wait for payouts, which come monthly or quarterly depending on the plan.
Withdrawal and account problems. A smaller group describe delayed or blocked withdrawals and deposits. WikiFX's summary also mentions complaints about withdrawal delays and access to profits.
Complexity and sign-up. A few call the platform hard for casual traders and the account checks lengthy.
