Overview
Exness is a big forex and CFD broker that's been running since 2008 and is best known for very high leverage and quick withdrawals. It suits MetaTrader traders who want a low starting deposit and don't mind trading through an offshore entity. The group holds licences from CySEC in Cyprus, the FSCA in South Africa, the CMA in Kenya, the FSA in Seychelles, the FSC in the BVI and the central bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten. There's an FCA licence too, but the UK company only deals with institutional clients, so retail traders end up with one of the other entities depending on where they live.
Accounts and costs
The Standard and Standard Cent accounts start from $10, charge no commission and have spreads from 0.2 pips. For tighter pricing there's Pro, Raw Spread (from 0.0 pips plus up to $3.50 per lot per side) and Zero (0.0 spreads on around 30 major instruments for most of the day, with a variable commission). Third-party guides usually put those at $200. Leverage on forex majors, minors, gold and silver can go up to "unlimited" for eligible accounts, though it drops with larger equity and during high-margin periods. Swap-free trading is available.
Platforms and markets
You can trade on MT4, MT5, the Exness Terminal in your browser and the Exness Trade app. The app only works with MT5 accounts, and the terminal uses TradingView charts. Markets are CFDs on forex, metals, indices, stocks and crypto. Demo accounts are available.
Money in and out
Exness doesn't charge its own fees on deposits or withdrawals, though your bank or payment provider might. Options include bank transfer, cards, Skrill, Neteller and crypto, depending on your country. Withdrawals go back to the method you paid in with, and most are processed automatically.

What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
Exness splits opinion sharply depending on where you look. It shows a 4-star rating on Trustpilot from about 32,700 reviews, while the smaller complaint-leaning sites sit far lower: 1.1 on Sitejabber from 21 reviews and 1.72 on Reviews.io from about 790. Third-party sites quote a 4.7 TrustScore from older review counts. Forex Peace Army and Myfxbook carry long review threads without a score shown in our evidence. The positive side is about speed and cost; the negative side is almost entirely about withdrawals held under review.
What traders like
Fast withdrawals. The most repeated praise on Trustpilot, Myfxbook and Reddit is that withdrawals, crypto and card included, arrive within minutes or the same day.
Tight spreads and execution. Many reviewers mention low spreads on gold and forex and stable execution for scalping and expert advisors.
Local payment options. Traders in India, the Philippines and Africa often say local deposit and withdrawal methods make it easy to use.
Flexible leverage and cent accounts come up regularly.
Common complaints
Withdrawals frozen under review. Several Reddit, Forex Peace Army and Xolvie posters say their account was put under review after a withdrawal request, with repeated document requests and no timeline, some for weeks or months.
Withdrawal routes locked to the deposit source. A number of reviewers say they could only withdraw back to the original method, which blocked them when that method stopped working.
Disputed account closures. A few traders on Reddit and Forex Peace Army claim profitable accounts were blocked or closed, and at least one case went to the Financial Commission.
Slippage and rejected orders at busy times are mentioned by a minority on Myfxbook.
Some low reviews on Sitejabber and Reviews.io are promotions for fund recovery services, so those scores are noisy.
