## Overview

FBS is a forex and CFD broker that's been around since 2009 and claims more than 27 million clients across 150 countries, with a strong following in Asia, Africa and Latin America. It suits beginners who want to start small and traders chasing very high leverage. Most global clients are onboarded through FBS Markets Inc., licensed by the FSC in Belize. European clients get Tradestone Ltd, regulated by CySEC, and there's an ASIC-licensed arm in Australia plus a South African FSCA licence.

### Accounts and costs

The main live account is **Standard**. You can open it with $5, there's no trading commission and floating spreads start from 0.7 pips. Leverage on the global entity goes up to 1:3000 on forex, which is about as high as it gets, while EU retail clients are held to 1:30. Swap-free trading is available as an option on the account, and client money is kept in segregated accounts with negative balance protection.

### Platforms and markets

You can trade on MT4, MT5 or the FBS app, which handles deposits, withdrawals and trading in one place and uses TradingView charts. There's no cTrader and no TradingView account link. The range is about 550 CFDs across forex, metals, energies, indices, stocks and crypto. A free demo gives you up to $10,000 in virtual funds, and VPS hosting is on offer.

### Money in and out

FBS lists hundreds of payment options, depending on your country, including bank cards, bank transfers, Neteller and a long list of local methods. It says it doesn't charge its own deposit or withdrawal fees, and most withdrawals take 15 to 20 minutes, up to 48 hours. Card withdrawals can only return what you deposited by card, and some methods charge a fee if you withdraw without trading.

- Plenty of withdrawal complaints in public reviews

## What traders say

Checked 2026-10-06.

- Trustpilot: 4 / 5 from 10,119 reviews (https://www.trustpilot.com/review/fbs.com)
- Myfxbook: 4.2 / 5 from 256 reviews (https://www.myfxbook.com/reviews/brokers/fbs/91,1)
- Forex Peace Army: no score (https://www.forexpeacearmy.com/forex-reviews/5098/fbs-forex-brokers)
- Sitejabber: 4.7 / 5 from 18 reviews (https://nz.sitejabber.com/reviews/fbs.com)
- SmartCustomer: 3.1 / 5 from 19 reviews (https://www.smartcustomer.com/reviews/fbs.com)
- Reddit: no score (https://www.reddit.com/search/?q=fbs+broker)

FBS gets a broadly positive score from its own customers and a much harsher picture on complaint forums. It holds a 4-star rating on Trustpilot from about 10,100 reviews and 4.2 on Myfxbook from about 260. Small pages on Sitejabber (4.7 from 18) and SmartCustomer (3.1 from 19) point in opposite directions. Forex Peace Army has a long review page and many complaint threads but no score in our evidence. The recurring theme on the negative side is withdrawals.

### What traders like

- **Low entry point.** Many reviewers, often beginners, like starting with a small deposit and high leverage.
- **Fast deposits and, for many, fast withdrawals.** Lots of Trustpilot and Myfxbook reviews say payouts arrive quickly, some instantly.
- **Local language support.** Reviewers in Indonesia, Brazil, Turkey and elsewhere praise support and education in their own language, and local payment methods.
- **Easy app.** The mobile app and its interface get regular compliments.

### Common complaints

- **Withdrawals refused or delayed.** Several Forex Peace Army, Myfxbook and complaint-site posters describe repeated rejections, demands to prove the deposit source, or bank transfers marked complete that never arrived. FBS's help centre says withdrawals must go back to the method used to deposit, and some disputes appear to turn on that rule.
- **Profits deducted or accounts closed.** A few say profits were removed or accounts terminated after a winning run, sometimes linked to bonuses.
- **Slippage and gaps around news.** Some reviewers say stops slipped far past their level, or that price gaps appeared on FBS that other brokers did not show.
- **Spreads.** Trustpilot's own summary calls opinion on pricing mixed, and some ask for tighter spreads on majors.

### Recently

- **September to October 2026:** a recent Trustpilot reviewer says withdrawals, usually quick, have slowed lately, and a user review on DayTrading.com from early October describes a bank withdrawal marked completed that never arrived.
- **July and August 2026:** WikiFX published two pieces citing repeated user complaints about blocked withdrawals and deducted profits, alongside a low WikiFX score of its own.
