## Overview

LYNX is a Dutch online broker, based in Amsterdam and running since 2006. It's an introducing broker for Interactive Brokers, so you get IBKR's huge market access with LYNX's own platform, service and pricing layered on top. It's aimed at active investors and traders in Europe, rather than complete beginners. LYNX B.V. is supervised in the Netherlands by the AFM and DNB, and reviewers also list BaFin oversight in Germany.

### Accounts and costs

There's one multi-asset account that you can open as an individual, joint or business account. The big hurdle is the minimum: €3,000 for individual and joint accounts and €20,000 for business accounts. Commissions depend on your country, but they start around €5 for EU shares, $5 for US shares and €3 for options. US index futures run about $1.25 a contract. You can switch from a cash to a margin account if you've got the experience, and short selling is supported. CFD leverage follows EU retail limits.

### Platforms and markets

LYNX+ is the main platform, on desktop, web and mobile, and it now has TradingView charts built in. For heavier use there's TWS, the Interactive Brokers desktop platform, and you can also connect your account to TradingView and trade from there. There's no MetaTrader. Markets cover stocks, ETFs, options, futures, forex, bonds, funds and some CFDs across more than 100 markets, and you can hold over 20 currencies in the account.

### Money in and out

Funding is by bank transfer, including from Wise or Revolut. Deposits are free, and the first withdrawal each calendar month is free, with a small fee after that, like €1 for a SEPA transfer. Money has to come from and go back to accounts in your own name.

## What traders say

Checked 2026-10-06.

- Trustpilot (Germany): 4.8 / 5 from 615 reviews (https://de.trustpilot.com/review/lynxbroker.de)
- Forex Peace Army: no score (https://www.forexpeacearmy.com/forex-reviews/17236/LYNX-broker-review)
- Reddit: no score (https://www.reddit.com/search/?q=lynx+broker)

There is not much review evidence for LYNX. The only score comes from its German Trustpilot page, which third-party sites reported at 4.8 from about 615 reviews in 2025. The bundle has no snippet from Trustpilot itself, so that figure may be out of date. Forex Peace Army has a LYNX page with no reviews visible here. Most of what traders say is on Reddit, in Belgian, German and EU personal finance groups, and it is mostly mild and positive.

### What traders like

- **Interactive Brokers underneath.** Reddit users keep pointing out that LYNX is an introducing broker for Interactive Brokers. It uses IBKR's Trader Workstation, with LYNX's own simpler web platform on top.
- **Local tax handling.** Belgian users like that LYNX deals with the Belgian stock exchange tax (TOB) for them.
- **Options and global markets.** Several users trade US and European options without trouble and value access to many exchanges.
- **Friendly support.** A few long-time users describe support as quick and helpful.

### Common complaints

- **Higher fees than going direct.** The most common point is that commissions, for options spreads especially, cost more than at IBKR itself. Several users suggest going to IBKR directly if possible.
- **No free ETF plans or market data.** Some note there are no zero-fee ETF savings plans and no free real-time data.
- **Clunky withdrawals.** Older posts mention a waiting period before deposits can be withdrawn and a separate login for account management. Bank transfer is the only way to move money in or out.
