Overview
Skilling is a Scandinavian-owned CFD broker set up in 2016 and run out of Cyprus. It's a good fit for beginners and casual forex traders who want a tidy app but still like having cTrader or MetaTrader on hand. EU clients are served by Skilling Ltd, licensed by CySEC under 357/18, while most clients elsewhere end up with Skilling (Seychelles) Ltd under the FSA in Seychelles, which offers less protection.
Accounts and costs
The Standard account opens from €100, charges no commission and has EUR/USD spreads from roughly 0.7 to 0.8 pips. Premium needs €5,000 and swaps that for spreads from 0.1 pips plus $35 to $40 commission per million traded, which suits busier traders. EU retail clients are capped at 1:30 leverage on major forex, and the offshore entity allows a lot more. Keep an eye on the inactivity fee if you go quiet for a while.
Platforms and markets
You can trade on Skilling Trader, the broker's own web and mobile platform, or pick cTrader, MT4, MT5 or TradingView, all on one account. Copy trading is on offer too. The range runs to about 1,200 CFDs: 70+ forex pairs, hundreds of share CFDs, indices, commodities, crypto and a handful of ETFs like SPY and GDX.

Skilling doesn't charge for deposits, and you can pay by card, bank transfer, Skrill, Neteller, AstroPay and other local methods. Skrill and Neteller can carry a fee of up to 2.9%. You get one free withdrawal a day on most methods, but bank wires cost $15 for SEPA or $25 otherwise.

What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
Skilling has a small but mostly positive review footprint. It holds 4.0 on Trustpilot from about 440 reviews, and TradingView users who trade through it are largely happy. The negative side sits mainly on Forex Peace Army, where a handful of older reviews describe accounts frozen at withdrawal time. There is little Reddit discussion, so the picture rests on fewer voices than for bigger brokers.
What traders like

Common complaints
Accounts frozen during source-of-funds checks. A few Forex Peace Army reviewers say their account was locked for trading and withdrawals after a withdrawal request, while compliance asked for proof of where the deposit came from.

Fees. Some reviewers mention withdrawal fees after the first free one each month and currency conversion charges.
