Overview
Vantage is a CFD and forex broker that's been around since 2009 and is built for people who want MetaTrader or TradingView with raw spreads and a low entry fee. Its main licences are with ASIC in Australia, through Vantage Global Prime Pty Ltd, and the FCA in the UK, through Vantage Global Prime LLP. It also runs entities regulated by the FSCA in South Africa, CIMA in the Cayman Islands and the VFSC in Vanuatu, and which one you land in decides your leverage and protections.
Accounts and costs
The Standard STP account needs $50 and has no commission, with spreads from about 1 pip on EUR/USD. Raw ECN has the same $50 minimum, spreads from 0.0 pips and a $3 per lot per side commission. Pro ECN cuts that to $1.50 per side but asks for $10,000. There's a swap-free version too. On the global entity, leverage runs from 1:100 to 1:2000, while UK retail clients are capped at 30:1 on major pairs.
Platforms and markets
You can trade on MT4, MT5, TradingView or the Vantage app and web platform. TradingView accounts work with MT5 and the app but not MT4. The product list is around 1,000 CFDs across forex, indices, commodities, share CFDs, ETFs and a handful of bonds, which is fine for most traders but smaller than the big multi-asset houses. US residents can't sign up.
Money in and out
Deposits go in by bank transfer, card, Skrill, Neteller or crypto, and Vantage doesn't charge for them. Withdrawals are free on most methods, but international bank transfers cost 20 units of your account currency, and money goes back by the route it came in.

What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
Vantage's reviews split sharply depending on where you look. It scores 4.1 on Myfxbook from 144 reviews and 2.4 on SmartCustomer from 38. Vantage announced a 4.5 TrustScore on Trustpilot from more than 9,000 reviews in September 2025, but the snippets we collected do not show the current figure. Forex Peace Army has a long thread of complaints and also flags past fake positive reviews, including posts by Vantage staff who did not disclose where they worked.
What traders like
Spreads and execution. Some Reddit users comparing brokers say Vantage gave them the most consistent spreads in the London session.
Quick withdrawals for many. Several traders say withdrawals, especially by crypto, landed within a day or two.
Copy trading and MetaTrader. Long-term clients on Myfxbook mention the platform choice and copy trading accounts, and some say an account manager was helpful.
Common complaints
Profits removed or accounts frozen. The most serious complaints, on Forex Peace Army, Reddit and BrokersView, come from traders who say profits were cancelled or accounts frozen under an abnormal trading or compliance review after they started winning. Vantage's side of these disputes is not in the evidence.
Withdrawal delays. Several reviewers describe withdrawals blocked, split across several payments, or bounced back after card problems. Vantage's help centre lists expired cards and wrong crypto addresses as common causes.
Support that stops replying. A number of complainants say emails went unanswered once a dispute began.
App reliability. Some Reddit users say the mobile app lagged or crashed, and one says a complaint about losses during an outage was ruled in Vantage's favour under its terms.
Offshore entities. Several of the disputes involve the Vanuatu or Cayman entities, where traders say they had little recourse.
