Overview
VT Markets is a CFD broker built around MetaTrader, running since 2015 and aimed at forex and gold traders who want cheap raw-spread pricing and a low deposit. It's mostly offshore regulated: VT Markets (Pty) Ltd holds an FSCA licence in South Africa, VT Markets Limited is licensed by the FSC in Mauritius, and VT Markets LLC is registered in St Vincent and the Grenadines. A Dubai branch holds a UAE licence, but only for introducing and promoting, not for running trades. It doesn't take clients from the US, Singapore, Russia or Hong Kong.
Accounts and costs
The Standard STP account is commission-free with spreads from 1.2 pips. Raw ECN drops spreads to 0.0 pips and charges $6 per lot round turn. Both list a $100 minimum, though VT's funding FAQ says a live account generally needs 50 in your base currency. Pro ECN cuts commission further for bigger traders, and Cent accounts let you trade forex, gold, silver and oil in tiny sizes. Leverage goes up to 1:1000 depending on the instrument and where you live, and swap-free versions are offered.
Platforms and markets
You can use MT4, MT5, the WebTrader, TradingView or the VT Markets app, and copy trading is available too. There's no cTrader. The range is 1,000+ CFDs across forex, indices, commodities, shares, ETFs, bonds and crypto.
Money in and out
VT doesn't charge for deposits by card, bank transfer, e-wallets like Skrill and Neteller, or local methods. The first wire withdrawal each month is free and later ones cost $20, while Skrill takes 1% and Neteller 2%. The minimum withdrawal is 40 in your base currency, and bank wires take three to five business days.

What traders say
Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.
VT Markets looks better on Trustpilot than anywhere else. It holds about 4.2 there from roughly 2,700 reviews, while its Forex Peace Army, Myfxbook and Reddit pages are dominated by withdrawal disputes. Forex Peace Army has also flagged and removed positive reviews it traced to staff of VT Markets' sister broker Vantage. Its own score for VT Markets did not appear in our evidence.
What traders like
Quick deposits and withdrawals for many. Plenty of Trustpilot reviewers say withdrawals arrive within a day and that they have traded for a year or more without trouble.
Low spreads and MetaTrader. Traders like the raw spread accounts and having both MT4 and MT5.
Friendly live chat. Support gets praise for polite, fast answers on routine questions.
Common complaints
Accounts restricted after a withdrawal request. The most repeated story on Forex Peace Army, Myfxbook and Reddit: a first withdrawal goes through, then a later one is refused and the account is put "under review" with trading disabled.
Profits removed. Several traders say profits were cancelled for abnormal or non-compliant trading without clear evidence, sometimes on bonus-funded accounts.
Long compliance holds. Some describe reviews running for weeks or months, with repeated document requests.
Copy-paste support once things go wrong. Reviewers say replies turn generic when the issue is a blocked withdrawal.
Stops hit without price reaching them. A few Trustpilot reviewers blame spread widening.
Recently
July 2026: a Trustpilot reviewer reported an account restricted for over a week over unexplained "suspicious trading activity". In September a Forex Peace Army reviewer said a withdrawal had been held for six months under a compliance investigation, and another said profits were removed and the deposit was also slow to return. A Tradomatix summary in August 2026 found withdrawals and support the two dominant themes over the prior year.
Where this comes from
