## Overview

4PropTrader is a Dubai-registered prop firm (4Proptrader FZ-LLC) that started with futures and has added CFD challenges for forex, indices, metals, crypto and stocks. Its pitch is cheap commissions and a generous split. It suits futures day traders happy with a monthly subscription, and CFD traders who want a one-step test they can pass in a day.

### How the evaluation works

- **Futures Evaluation:** a monthly subscription from $10K to $250K. The target is 6% on most sizes (4% on the largest) and the drawdown runs from 2.4% to 6%. The drawdown trails your end-of-day balance and stops once it reaches the starting balance. There's no daily limit while you're being evaluated. Five trading days minimum.
- **CFD 1 Step:** a one-time fee, a 10% target and a 6% end-of-day trailing drawdown. One trading day minimum. A two-step CFD option is listed as well.

### Rules worth knowing

- Futures positions must be closed by 3:15pm Chicago time. No new trades until 5pm.
- Funded futures accounts add a daily loss limit of half the drawdown. CFD funded accounts get 3% (1-step) or 4% (2-step).
- News trading is allowed on both.
- CFD positions can be held overnight.
- Futures subscriptions renew until you cancel them yourself.

### Getting paid

You keep 100% of the first $8,000 per account and 95% after that. Futures accounts must clear a withdrawal threshold first, and the minimum request is $900 ($500 for CFDs). The first four payouts are capped by account size, then they're uncapped. Requests sent by Friday are paid the following Tuesday by bank wire, PayPal, Wise or USDT.

4PropTrader has a small review footprint for a firm offering both futures and CFD accounts. Trustpilot shows a 4-star rating from roughly 55 to 61 reviews, and notes it has removed a number of fake reviews from the page. Forex Peace Army has a page with long complaints but no score in our evidence, and Prop Firm Match lists the firm as unlisted and not yet vetted. The positive side is thin and partly comes from the firm's own testimonials, so the low reviews carry more weight here than usual.

### What traders like

- **Fast first payouts.** Some traders say early payouts were approved within a couple of days.
- **No time limit on the evaluation.** A few reviewers say being able to trade slowly helped them pass.
- **Futures execution.** One longer Trustpilot review says the futures platform and data feed run smoothly, while being less happy with the CFD side.

### Common complaints

- **Payouts refused over consistency.** Several reviewers on Trustpilot and Forex Peace Army say later payouts were rejected under the 40% consistency rule after the first ones went through, and that compliance decisions are presented as final.
- **Account closures.** Some say accounts were closed or reset after a data feed change or over trading activity labelled as gambling, without a clear explanation of what broke the rules.
- **Hard cutoffs.** A few low reviews involve positions left open past the 3:15 PM CT trading hours cutoff.
- **Support.** Some reviewers say support gives vague answers, and a 2025 Reddit thread warns of a payout that ran past the stated processing window.
