## Overview

BrightFunded is a Dubai firm, set up in 2023, selling evaluations for forex, indices, commodities and crypto CFDs on MT5, cTrader or DXtrade. Fees are in euros and accounts run from $5K to $200K. It suits traders who want to pick between one fast phase and two roomier ones, with no deadline on either.

### How the evaluation works

- **1-Step:** one 10% target, a 3% daily loss limit and a 6% maximum loss that trails your highest equity in real time until you're 6% up, then locks at the starting balance.
- **2-Step Bright:** 8% then 5%, with a 4% daily and 8% overall limit on a static floor.
- **2-Step Classic:** 10% then 5%, with a 5% daily and 10% overall limit, also static.

Every plan needs five trading days per stage. The daily limit resets from the higher of balance or equity at the 23:30 CET rollover.

### Rules worth knowing

News is free to trade in both evaluation phases. On funded accounts, profit from trades opened or closed within five minutes of a high-impact release is removed, but the account stays open. There's no consistency rule. Hedging inside one account is fine; hedging across accounts or firms ends accounts on a second offence. Copy trading only works between accounts you own.

### Getting paid

The split starts at 80%, with 90% sold as a checkout add-on and more through the scaling plan. Your first payout comes 30 days after the first funded trade, then every 14 days, or weekly with an add-on. Payouts go by euro bank transfer or USDC within a day. BrightFunded also adds 15% of your evaluation profits to a later funded account once you've grown 10%.

BrightFunded scores 4.4 on Prop Firm Match from about 130 verified reviews. Its Trustpilot page currently shows no score at all: Trustpilot removed a number of fake reviews and flagged the profile for a breach of its guidelines, so the 4.4 to 4.6 figures quoted by older review sites no longer apply. The page still carries over 500 reviews. Feedback splits between traders who praise very fast payouts and traders who say funded accounts were closed after a first payout.

- **Fast payouts.** The most repeated point across Reddit, Prop Firm Match and review sites is payouts arriving within hours of the request, often in under a day.
- **Few rules.** Reviewers like the lack of consistency rules and time limits, and say the objectives are easy to follow.
- **A CEO who steps in.** Several Prop Firm Match and Trustpilot reviewers say the CEO looked at their case personally and reversed a closure the risk team had got wrong.
- **Support.** Live chat and Discord support get regular praise.

### Common complaints

- **Accounts closed after a payout.** The main pattern on Trustpilot and Forex Peace Army: traders say they were paid once and then had the funded account terminated under a risk rule they believe they followed.
- **Slippage.** Several reviewers on Trustpilot and Reddit say stops filled well past their level, and one says this cost them many accounts.
- **Wide crypto spreads.** A Reddit thread from April 2026 questions spreads and limit-order fills on crypto.
- **Paid extras.** Some review sites point out that weekly payouts and the top profit split depend on paid add-ons.
