## Overview

Phoenix Trader Funding is a futures prop firm that runs four separate account lines instead of one evaluation. You trade CME group futures on its own platform, Odin, or copy in from the platform you already use. It suits intraday futures traders who want a cheap way in or want paying every trading day.

### How the evaluation works

- **Classic ($25K to $100K):** a 6% target, an end-of-day trailing drawdown of $1,500 to $3,000, no daily loss limit and two minimum days. Billed monthly until you pass.
- **Daily ($10K to $50K):** the same 6% target and end-of-day drawdown, two minimum days, also billed monthly.
- **Spark ($10K and $25K):** a one-time fee, a 6% target, a $400 or $1,000 drawdown and a single minimum day. There's a $29 activation fee once you pass.

### Rules worth knowing

- Classic and Daily challenges carry a 50% consistency rule. Spark has none while you pass, then 30% once funded.
- Funded Spark accounts trail the drawdown in real time.
- Nothing can be held overnight or over a weekend, on any account.
- News trading is allowed everywhere, FOMC and NFP included.
- Copy trading across your own accounts is fine. Hedging across accounts isn't.
- There's no time limit, though a Spark challenge with no trades for 90 days is disabled.

### Getting paid

Classic pays 90% weekly, with the first payout five trading days in. Spark pays 90% bi-weekly and Daily pays 80% every trading day. Each line has a per-payout cap, from $200 to $2,000 depending on size. After four payouts (or a set total on Daily) you can move to a live account with EdgeClear on a static drawdown. Payouts go out by Payoneer, Wise or PayPal, never crypto.

## Good

- News trading allowed on every account, Tier 1 included
- No daily loss limit on any evaluation
- Daily line pays out every trading day
- No time limit on evaluations

## Watch for

- Payouts capped per request on pre-funded accounts
- No overnight or weekend positions at any stage
- Most platforms need your own data account and the Thor copier

Phoenix Trader Funding, a futures firm based in Paris, has a small but positive review record: 4.6 on Trustpilot from about 240 reviews. The firm invites customers to review and has replied to every negative review there. Beyond Trustpilot the evidence is thin. Its Forex Peace Army page has no reviews yet, Prop Firm Match lists it as unlisted, and we found no Reddit discussion.

### What traders like

- **Fast payouts.** Several Trustpilot reviewers say payout requests were processed within minutes, with PayPal mentioned often.
- **Support and access to the CEO.** Reviewers on Trustpilot and PropTradingFirms.net praise prompt support and say the CEO is visible and answers questions.
- **Cheap and quick to start.** Some say accounts are inexpensive and can be funded within a day.
- **The Merit plan and performance reviews.** A few single out the Merit plan and the feedback the firm gives after a failed challenge.

### Common complaints

- **Fees and payout rules.** A few reviewers say evaluation fees are high and withdrawal rules strict, including consistency requirements.
- **Trouble at the first big payout.** One trader quoted by a review site says problems started once they asked to withdraw after a strong start.

The low reviews are few, so these are isolated reports rather than clear patterns.
