Overview

Funding Pips is a Dubai firm selling evaluations for forex, metals, indices, energies and two crypto pairs on MT5, cTrader and Match-Trader. It suits traders who want a cheap way in and don't mind comparing several rulebooks.

How the evaluation works

  • 2 Step Standard: 8% then 5%, with a 5% daily limit (3% as an add-on) and a 10% static max loss. Three trading days per phase.

  • 2 Step Pro: 6% in both phases, 3% daily and 6% max loss, both static. Two trading days per phase on new accounts.

  • 2 Step Flex: 10% then 8%, with 4% daily and 12% max loss on a static floor.

  • 1 Step Flex: one 12% phase, 12% max loss and a 2% or 3% daily limit.

  • Zero: no evaluation. A 3% daily limit and a 5% loss limit that trails your equity high until you're 5% up, then locks at the starting balance.

No phase has a time limit, but 30 days without a closed trade is a breach.

Rules worth knowing

News is open during evaluations. On funded accounts, profit from trades opened or closed within 5 minutes of high-impact news (10 around speeches) can be deducted. On Zero, trading that window or holding over the weekend ends the account. Other funded accounts close positions daily unless you bought the Swing add-on. Third-party EAs may only manage trades or risk.

Getting paid

2 Step Standard lets you pick 60% weekly, 80% bi-weekly, 100% monthly or 90% on demand, with a 35% consistency rule on the last two. Pro pays 80% weekly, Flex 80% or 95% bi-weekly, and Zero 95% bi-weekly. Rewards go by card, crypto, Rise or bank transfer, and Standard refunds your fee on the fourth reward.

What traders say

Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.

Funding Pips has one of the biggest review piles of any prop firm: 4.5 on Trustpilot from about 70,000 reviews and 4.2 on Prop Firm Match from about 1,200 verified traders. Most of it is warm, about quick payouts, cheap entry prices and fast support. The unhappy minority cluster around funded accounts closed or profits cut under the news, grouping and copy-trading rules. On Forex Peace Army, with only a handful of reviews, the tone is much harsher.

What traders like

  • Payouts land quickly. Lots of reviewers say withdrawals arrived the same day or within a day, and many mention taking more than one.

  • Support replies fast. Live chat and Discord staff get named and thanked a lot.

  • Low prices and no time limits. Traders like starting small and passing the phases at their own pace.

  • Clean dashboard and platforms. People find the client area easy to use, with gold spreads praised a few times.

Common complaints

  • Accounts closed near payout time. Some report funded accounts closed or restricted just before a payout, with reasons they felt weren't explained.

  • Copy-trading and CID flags. A recurring complaint, on Trustpilot and Prop Firm Match alike, is being grouped with another user by device or IP match, with reviewers saying they couldn't see the evidence.

  • News rule profit removal. Several say profit was taken off for trades around high-impact news, and a few say the calendar they checked didn't match the firm's.

  • Rules that tighten after you pass. Reviewers note that news, weekend and consistency rules bite harder on Master accounts than in the evaluation.

Recently

  • July 2026: Forex Peace Army threads complain about terms changed on existing accounts and disputed Master account closures.

  • August 2026: Master accounts bought from 15 August carry a 35% consistency rule and a minimum number of profitable days. Finance Magnates reported backlash over the move to Prime accounts.

  • Early October 2026: new Trustpilot reviews are still mostly about fast payouts, with a few about CID closures and payout request trouble.
