Overview
Fundora is a prop firm run by Quantum Fund Traders Inc. from Tokyo. There's one two-phase challenge on cTrader, sold in six odd-looking sizes from $16,666 to $400,000, and gold carries no overnight swap. It suits traders who want one plain set of rules.
How the evaluation works
Fundora Challenge: 8% in phase 1 and 5% in phase 2, with a 5% daily and 10% overall loss limit. You need 3 trading days in each phase. Prices run from $177 for the $16,666 account to $2,999 for $400,000.
The daily loss resets at 6 AM Japan time in summer and 7 AM in winter, which catches people used to a midnight reset. Pass both phases and you get a Pro account with the same 5% and 10% limits.
Rules worth knowing
No time limit on either phase, but 30 days without a trade disqualifies the account.
Closing a trade within 20 seconds of opening it is banned.
News trading, averaging down and martingale are allowed.
EAs are allowed only if you built them yourself, and you may be asked for the code. Copying anyone else's trades is banned, as is hedging across accounts.
Weekend holding is allowed on every symbol. Only crypto trades at the weekend.
Leverage is 50x on forex, 10x on commodities, 5x on indices and 2x on crypto.
Getting paid
The Pro account pays 80%. The first reward can be claimed after 28 days and is capped at 10% of the starting balance, the second at 15%, and after that rewards come every 14 days. Pro rewards also need your best day to be no more than 33.3% of total profit. Payouts are usually processed within 2 to 3 business days.
