Overview

Legacy Funded Futures is a futures prop firm built around its community. Its Discord has thousands of members and runs more than 20 free live trading sessions a week, led by creators such as Mamba FX and Luca No Limits. You trade CME futures on DXTrade, with TradingView available as a charting front end. It suits newer futures traders who want people to trade alongside, and don't mind a single execution platform.

How the evaluation works

All three lines come in 50K, 100K and 150K sizes and use an end-of-day trailing drawdown.

  • Rise: a 6% target and a $1,500 to $3,750 drawdown, from $99. A $99 activation fee applies once you pass.

  • Elite: a 7% target, a $2,000 to $4,500 drawdown and a 2% daily loss limit once funded, from $199. Activation is $79.

  • Instant Funded: no evaluation. You need seven winning days of at least $250, under an end-of-day drawdown and a daily loss limit. From $449.

Both evaluations need at least two trading days and must be passed within 60 calendar days. The pricing cards show one-time fees, though the How It Works page describes them as monthly, so check at checkout.

Rules worth knowing

  • No orders may be placed or closed within two minutes of high-impact news such as FOMC, NFP and CPI.

  • Everything has to be flat before the session ends. No overnight holds.

  • A consistency rule applies in both the evaluation and the funded account.

Getting paid

Rise pays up to 90% and Elite up to 95%. You need five funded trading days before your first request, then you can ask every 14 calendar days. The minimum is $250 and there's no hard cap. Payouts go out through Rise, usually within 24 hours.

What traders say

Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.

Legacy Funded Futures has a small review footprint. It scores 4.4 on Trustpilot from 96 reviews, and Trustpilot notes the firm hasn't invited customers to review recently, so the page may not be representative. There are no Reddit threads or other review-site pages with trader reviews in our evidence, so the picture below rests on a handful of Trustpilot snippets and editorial write-ups.

What traders like

  • Quick payouts. Trustpilot reviewers mention first payouts arriving within minutes of approval.

  • The community. Several reviewers credit the Discord and the daily free live trading sessions for helping them improve.

  • Beginner-friendly evaluation. Some say they passed within a week and found the platform easy to use.

Common complaints

  • Few detailed complaints on record. The negative Trustpilot reviews visible to us are thin. The firm replied to one by saying the reviewer had never been a customer.

  • Payout rules that don't line up. Review sites note the firm advertises no payout reviews, while its own help pages say payouts over $5,000 get a manual review and large single-trade profits trigger a check.

  • Extra costs. Review sites point out an activation fee on funding and a consistency rule published without a number, which makes the real cost and the payout bar hard to judge in advance.

Recently

  • September 2026: two review sites re-checked the rules and flagged the activation fee, the unquantified consistency rule and the mixed messaging on payout reviews. Recent Trustpilot reviews are mostly about quick first payouts.

Where this comes from

  • Trustpilot: the firm's only review-site page with a score.

  • PropFirmMap: an editorial review of plans and rules, checked September 2026.

  • The Industry Spread: an editorial review covering the conflicting payout terms.
