Overview

Savius is a futures prop firm that says it has been running since 2013. It sells two things: instant funded accounts with no evaluation and a cheaper one-step evaluation. It suits CME day traders who want a set path to a live account.

How the evaluation works

  • Instant Funded: no target to pass. Sizes run $25K to $300K with a 4% maximum drawdown that trails during the first cycle and a hard daily loss limit of roughly 1.3% to 1.6%. After the first payout the floor becomes static.

  • Savius Evaluation: one step with a 6% target, 10 trading days and a 30-day window. You pick a fixed end-of-day drawdown (1.6%) or a trailing end-of-day one (2.5% to 3%) on a $50K or $100K account. No activation fee when you pass.

Rules worth knowing

  • All positions have to be closed by 15:55 CT. An open position at the close fails the account.

  • The daily loss limit on instant accounts is a hard breach, reset each day at 16:15 CT.

  • A consistency rule applies: 20% on instant accounts and 30% on the evaluation and its funded phase.

  • News trading is allowed. Correlated hedging, bots and copy trading are not.

  • Funded accounts carry a $90 monthly data feed fee per user after the first included month.

Getting paid

Instant accounts pay 90% during the funded demo phase. On the evaluation route the split starts at 80% and steps up to 90% as cumulative profit grows. Each payout is capped per cycle, from $1,000 on a $25K to $4,000 on a $300K. Three payouts on one account trigger a review for a live account at 80%. Payouts go through Rise and take about 72 hours, with a 2% transfer fee.

What traders say

Scores from the sites traders use, and our summary of what they're saying, checked 6 October 2026.

Savius is one of the older futures prop firms, running since 2013, but it has a modest review footprint. It holds 4.5 on Trustpilot from about 200 reviews, the only sizeable pool. Forex Peace Army and Prop Firm Match have pages for it with no score, and Reddit discussion is sparse. Evidence on complaints is thin, so the picture below leans on a small number of reviews.

What traders like

  • Payouts arrive. Trustpilot reviewers often describe payouts landing within two to three days through Rise, including some large ones.

  • Personal, responsive support. Reviewers name individual staff and mention replies even on holidays.

  • Fair handling of technical issues. Several mention that the firm refunded a losing trade caused by a data-feed problem.

  • Track record. Traders cite its long history and a route to a live account after three payouts as reasons to trust it.

Common complaints

Few detailed complaints show up in the evidence. The points that come up, mostly from review sites rather than individual traders, are:

  • Cost. Accounts are priced above the futures average, and a separate monthly data-feed fee applies.

  • Tight rules. A 20% consistency rule, a trailing drawdown on open equity, minimum trading days and no overnight positions limit some styles.

  • Platform choice. It runs only on Volumetrica, ATAS and Quantower, with no NinjaTrader or Tradovate.

  • Flagged payouts. The firm says flagged payouts can take longer than 72 hours.

Recently

No dated trader reviews from the last 90 days appear in the evidence beyond a steady trickle of new Trustpilot reviews, the latest noted in mid-August 2026.
